This First Friday Art Show will feature photography by Fairbanks born & raised Stephanie Barney and Aaron Hinkey.
Come enjoy two artists views of life in Alaska through their lens. From northern lights to portraits, this show will for sure ignite a love of our state in you. Food, drinks and live music!
The first of six races this winter up at Birch Hill XC trails. Entry fee is $10/race, or $50/all races.
This 5k skate or classic race is for any skill level, age, or speed! Two easy laps of 2.5k on the lit trails of birch hill. After some fresh air come by Trax, sit around the fire and enjoy some ice cream or a beer and hang out!
Don’t have skis? Not a problem, we rent skis at the shop!
These races are all community races, for all levels. So if you and/or your family enjoy running in all the town races during the summers then you’ll love these in the winter because now you can glide.
Trax will run a race special of $10 to rent a ski package that’s all waxed and ready to go

About the event: join us for dance, cardio and choreo with a weekly themed class. Expect to get a little sweaty, move across the floor and learn some choreography and perform as a group! Registration is $50 for the 4 week event. Make sure to tag a friend you’d like to see get down with you!! Starting Oct 11th for 4 Tuesday’s starting at 7:15pm and lasting till 8:15pm!

Join Kristin Papp for a creative afternoon of mandala rock painting and learning about the seven chakras! This three-hour workshop is broken down into two segments. The first two hours will be spent painting mandala stones with a review of the individual chakras. Yogis are provided stones, paint, brushes and a summary of each chakra and are encouraged to bring a pillow/bolster to sit on.
