Yoga is a great way to cross train in whichever sport you are participating in this season. In this workshop, you will build your core strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, muscle tension, and breathing. All aspects of this workshop allow an athlete to enhance their performance!

We’ll be focusing on the following elements during this workshop:

Core: Enhance isometric contractions and increase resistance while building balance and strength.

Breathing: Reduce performance anxiety and increase concentration.

Balance: Improve muscle imbalance, core imbalance, and use of muscles not commonly used, but very necessary to make gains in your athletic performance.

This class is designed to meet children with disabilities right where they are. This is a community class taught by Meghan Chancey, and is free.

Saturday, October 14
noon to 1pm
Free

This class will be accessible to children with disabilities, physical and intellectual. We will be practicing yoga poses and postures as well as working with breathing techniques in order to understand how to utilize these outside of yoga class.

Jessica Christenson is leading this gentle flow class encouraging intention and devotion through the connection to your breath and movement. Sunday, October 8
noon to 1:30pm
Cost is a drop-in fee or a punch off punch card

No prior singing or yoga experience needed!

Come strengthen the deep mind body connection that allows you to be of great service to the world.
