Classic skiing is the more traditional type of nordic skiing that involves a “striding” like motion. Classic skiing is best in Fairbanks when temperatures drop and the snow gets slow!

Lessons
Trax gives lessons up at Birch Hill which is a five minute drive from the shop. Call the store at (907)-374-9600 to set up a lesson or stop in to make an appointment. Someone is always ready at Trax to gear up and help you get started on your nordic skiing adventures!
